Finding a battery installer near you in Adelaide
If you are searching for a battery installer near you, the shortlist matters more than the search itself. A home battery is a big purchase, installed in your home and wired into your switchboard — so the installer you choose matters as much as the battery you choose.
1. A licensed electrician, not a sales team
Your installer should be a licensed electrician who does the work themselves. At Moz Electrical, you deal directly with Liam — a licensed Adelaide electrician based in Glenelg — from the first phone call through to the finished installation. Not a salesperson, not a subcontractor, not a call centre.
2. Accreditation that protects your rebate
The federal battery rebate only applies when the battery is connected to a solar system and installed by an accredited installer. Liam is accredited by Solar Accreditation Australia, and the systems installed are on the Clean Energy Council approved product list — both conditions of the rebate. Read the full rebate rules in our home battery rebate guide.
3. A fixed price before any work starts
Ask for the installed price in writing before work begins — including the inverter, with the rebate already taken off. At Moz Electrical, installed prices start at $3,800 for a 13.92kWh system and run to $11,990 for 41.76kWh, inverter included. See every size and price in our solar battery price guide.
4. Brands with a track record here
Moz Electrical installs Fox ESS and AlphaESS — two brands rather than everything on the market, chosen because they are known quantities, including how they behave after a few years. The inverter is a 9.9kW Fox ESS KH9.9 for single phase, or a 10kW Fox ESS H3-Smart-10.0 for three phase.
5. Installation in a single day
Most home battery installations can be completed within a single day, depending on your existing electrical system. The process is: free consultation, site inspection and energy assessment, fixed-price quote, professional installation, then commissioning and ongoing support.
6. Local — and honest about where they work
Moz Electrical is based in Glenelg and installs home batteries across Adelaide. Fill in the quote form with your suburb and Liam will confirm availability for your area.
