What is the federal home battery rebate?
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program gives households a discount on an installed home battery. At Moz Electrical, that discount is already taken off the prices you see — there is no rebate paperwork for you to chase and no amount to claim back later.

The deadline: 1 January 2027
The rebate steps down again on 1 January 2027. That means a battery installed before that date keeps the higher discount, and a battery installed after it gets a lower one. If you are already thinking about a battery, the timing is worth more than the brand — the same system costs you less before the step-down than after it.
Do you qualify?
A battery works best with solar, and the federal rebate requires the battery to be connected to a solar system. If you already have solar, we can usually add a battery to it. If you are planning solar, talk to Liam first so the system is sized together.
